Deadline for Coaching Applications Extended to February 15 for Rep Field Lacrosse - Tyke, Novice, Peewee, and Bantam 2 Divisions Only
The Brampton Minor Lacrosse Association (BMLA) has extended the deadline for coaching applications to February 15 for the 2011 representative FIELD divisions of Tyke (2003-2004), Novice (2001-2002), Peewee (1999-2000) and Bantam 2 (1997-1998). Please note this is the first year in which play at the Tyke level will be offered for field lacrosse.(DOWNLOAD LIST OF 2011 TEAMS HERE).
If you are interested in coaching in one of these representative field divisions please download and complete the appropriate application form below.
The coaching application deadline for programs/divisions other than those mentioned above has passed and the selection process has started. Applicants will be contacted for interviews by the respective program coordinator. Thank you to all those who have applied.
Please attach the following items your application. More information on these required documents is below:
- Copies of all qualifications (coach certification / trainer certification / etc)
- Coaching Resume if available
- Police Check (please provide the receipt indicating that the application has been submitted to the local Police station if you have not yet received from police)
- Policy Acknowledgement dated and signed

HEAD COACH QUALIFICATIONS
Certification Level
Please attach a copy of NCCP certification to your application. If you do not yet have your certification please advise which date you will be attending the coaching course.
Police Check
All applicants will be required to have a police check on file for the 2011season with the BMLA.
Please request a copy of the Vulnerable Record Search Form (Peel Regional Police) from the BMLA President at president@bramptonlacrosse.ca.
You will be required to submit the stamped and returned police check with your coaching application. If you have not yet received it from Peel Regional Police at the time you submit your coach application, then please provide the receipt indicating that it has been submitted to the local Police station.
If you are accepted to coach please note that all members of your staff must agree to provide a criminal record search by the date(s) established. For a copy of our policy regarding volunteers and members with criminal records please contact the BMLA President at president@bramptonlacrosse.ca.
Policy Acknowledgement
Each Coach Selection Committee requires that the Head Coach acknowledges responsibility and understanding of the following requirements:
- Fair Play Code of Conduct requirement
- Police Check requirement
- Carding requirements for all staff and participants
- Appropriate apparel and mouth guard requirements
- An understanding of all applicable resolutions for the Team for which you have applied
